Awesome news.
When I first entered the multiplayer Sim Aces High, more then a decade ago, the first ride I took was a K4. Actually managing to get her off the ground I soon faced a Mustang who then tried to outrun the 109. When I shot him down easily because he just flew straight, coms started with "WTF why did a 109 catch me!?" Since then there is a love affair going on. Trying to go to see her in real once she is done for sure

If CLOD continues on threw the war years as IL-2 did I can't wait to see what the late war 109s will be like. I guess that's a few years away but I can wait.

Well, they will surely hve to give us an exo-atmospheric model to fit the perfs of the late war Spits then. [JokeMode=OFF] |

Always good to have another war bird in the air.
As to P 51 speeds, the fastest in service models were the B and C, which could do 440mph as well.

wasn't the fastest 51's the razors that were cleared for 25lbs boost for a limited time in summer of '44 and early '45? Last edited by fruitbat; 07-14-2012 at 02:11 PM. |
