Was escorting some bombers after had dropped my bombs on a target. Was flying around 5-6km altitude in the Bf110C-7 and we got engaged by Spitfires. I think Robo was there and some others. But it was rather easy to keep distance from a Spitfire in the Bf110C-7, their speed difference is not that big and I bet most of it boils down how well you trim the plane. I had mine pretty nicely in trim at all times and kept RPM at optimal, required a lot of prop pitch adjusting but manageable
Shame the Bf110 turns like a brick, but if you get to B&Z it holds it's own quite well
