Is there a USB hub involved anywhere here?
I was a bit concerned the first time I fired up Clod, the joystick animation seemed slightly out of sync with my movements, however the movements of the ailerons/rudder were perfect.
The game feels very reactive to my movements, but there is the most minute delay when looking at the stick in the cockpit.
The other thing I always thought was odd, was, I could be getting a constant 58FPS (See below) and the -in game- stick looked like it was suffering from FPS woes. ??? I don't get it, I just put it down to something weird going on in the game.

Once upon a time I had a similar issue with ArmA2. The problem I discovered was the soundcard I had.
I was using an EMU-1616M at the time for other things and the game did not like it one little bit. Every other game played nicely, but not ArmA2.
I would disable it in controlpanel and enable the Onboard audio, this solved the problem. Worth a go if you're using a soundcard I suppose. It's simple and reversable.

You know, this doesn't have to be the case. You can have vsync on, and no mouse/input lag from any device on any game.
Cap your framerate 1 or 2 frames below the Vsync refresh rate and you will never EVER have this problem again.
No screen tearing and a wonderfully precise controller too!
Yes, this also negates input lag from Joysticks/Throttles/Rudder pedals etc.

You're welcome!
