Probably stated earlier-no big FPS improvement ( esp near ground,smoke ..all the ususl suspects...) and my gunsight ring is now almost invisible when turned on in German planes esp.
Still love the soim ,but increasingly it looks as if a more up to date game card is in my future, |

Just did a few quick missions. Observation so far:
Con: New LoD distances for trees plain suck. Did nit have much problems with them, but only seeing them for a couple hundret meters is esepecially immersion killing. And hardly any FPS gains for that. Pos: New AI is much much improved, no more rolling ad infitinitum. Bombers also make much better impression. At least so far. Dogfights actually are "fun" again, opposite to hard work. New tracers are boss.

Bug:
Mission in offline mode dont stop when I press escape. When I press Escape and change some things, e.g. in the video options, the game runs further and the plane is under no ones control. In online mode its totally normal of course, but in offline mode this is neck-breaking.... Because of this bug I lost my JG2 Deastersoft career with 15 missions and 30 kills on Full Real Apart from that stutters are still present despite pretty reasonable fps. Barely goes under 30 fps.... avg 45 low ground.... but still sometimes huuuge stutters every few seconds |

Flying online getting really bad lag with TrackIR when i am close to another plane.
At first i couldn't work out what the problem was, then i realised that as soon as i was close enough for the textures to be visible on the plane near me, my trackIR would pause infuriatingly. Never happened before with any of the patches, just this last one. |

Launcher crashes leaving quick missions and when exiting the game.
High octane RAF Performance a big improvement. 109 level banking performance at lower speeds more realistic for the wingtip configuration and performance relates better to the lower octane. I hope the higher octane 109 models come later. Performance wise 28-30 fps average setttings very high at low alt over London still with 2-3 micro pauses per second .I tried all types of settings ,medium being the most fluid at low level and the pop up trees are still there. Have to try psudo mode yet and will report if I find any changes . Other than the launcher crashes and over sensative rudder ,much better performance for me. The game unfortunately is stil lacking a decent Coop GUI .

launcher crashes on missions restart, in campaign and quick mode.
Always the same framerate...and a single card is still better than a sli config. Sli working better just with nvidia 3D vision on set at minimum depth. At higher depths there's a beach appearing on coasts...and a mess of shadows and artefacts. Convergence for every different view is still a problem... |

Germans never used Higher octane fuel because only the USA and the East Indies (Sumatra) could produce them.
