BETA PATCH v.1.07.18301 - Bug thread

OK, anyone else having an issue with tracks, when I go to view one, I click on select and nothing happens, if I go to fly and want to save one, I click on start recording and it seems like it tries to open an explorer window but I cant find it, and the IL2 window cant be clicked on anymore and I have to force close, tried a number of things with no luck....

My texture LOD appears to be in reverse! I have never encountered anything like this before, Moving the camera towards the terrain I see textures visibly degrade (the texture LOD actually changes to one that would be used when the camera was further away!). The textures that I used to get at ground level now come in at 500-800m. At 100m I get textures I would normally get at 500-800m.


I'll try to fraps it and get an upload if you need it.

also can't fly any of the hurricanes .... had no trouble in previous versions

The performance and sound are good, so far.

But the pops ups of the trees just in close distance in front of the plane are absolute crap!

You need to change your trees setting, doesn't matter if it's up or down. Restart the game, change the setting and restart the game. You can revert it back once it's restarted.

This does not fix anything for me, goes right back to zero tree landscape and close in pop up trees no matter what setting it is on, turn to or reverted to.

Yeah,the Hurricane is now porked!........just does'nt want to start,have been flying this since day one,never had these problems before.

Whilst I'm at it,there's still grass showing in the hangars,the Hurricane control column hydraulic lines still have a graphic bug in them,ie.there's a reflection of grass going through them.

But the biggest problem is that I suffered the most CTD's last night,and it would appear I'm not the only one suffering this either.

I'm an optimisic type of guy but I'm losing the losing faith with this,to be honest think I need to put this on the shelf to gather dust.
