Hope you have another monitor than that Philips 19" too, or have one planned?
Otherwise I find it a real pity you didn't save a "bit" by buying a 2600K or 3770K instead of that 990x EE+periphirals and bought yourself a nice fat 27" with part of the savings.
Anyting over 8GB of ram is rarely, if ever, used during normal operations aswell.
Unless you are a professional benchmarker, 3d designer or video editor the extra money spent now to get 4 more FPS could easily have funded a massive upgrade or completely new build in a years time.

Now maybe you plan to spend more money in 6months-1year time and then I haven't said anything...but for the regular user you can get more fps over a longer time by spreading your budget a little as PC-parts age faster than the human skin.
