Why is evryone so hell bent on keeping DX9 support?
I doubt any DX9 level cards would even run the interface at an acceptable frame rate. Hell my 7970 runs slower when forced to use DX9 code, and I have yet to see anyone running CoD on an nVidia FX or ATI XT series card. Are those cards even supported in the specs of CoD? DX9 support = use of an outdated API level, shrinking user base in terms of hardware, unessesary overhead in maintaining code. Time to move on people. Last edited by Codex; 06-19-2012 at 03:38 AM. |
