Unable to start game after patch.

What program did you use to unpack the patch files after download? I and a good couple of others had exactly the same issue where the crosshairs would appear but the game would not launch as you describe - it was rectified by using Winrar to unpack the patch files before coping into CoD (not winzip for example which unpacks the files but they don't work).

i got the same problem. i used winrar winzip 7zip and thats it.

Do i have to instal the patches one by one or can i pick the las one 1.07 ?

I extract the patch archive and just copied Parts folder to il-2 sturmovik and after that when i try to start the game the cros shown up od desktop than nothing heppens. PLEASE HELP!

I LET STEAM VERIFY MY CLOD WITCH REVERTED IT TO 1.5 SOMET I THINK THEN JUST UNZIPPED THE LATEST PATCH THE PARTS FOLDER USING WINRAR TO THE IL2 CLOD MAIN FOLDER NO PROBLEMS AFTER THIS!!!! MIND THE SPELLING HAD A FEW BEERS

sorry for my spelling (i'm not english at all just lived there for few years I' will defenetly have a couple of bears after work. I'm gonna reinstall all the software and try again.
