I have never heard of 1715x1053, additionally it is forcing me into "windowed" mode, when I check it in the in game graphics setup menu. It does run well in SLI. I have tried both ways, and maybe it is just me but the graphics seem clearer/smoother in SLI.

It is not using all of the desk top "real estate" in this resolution at the sides of the display, there is about 2 and 1/2 inches at each side. From top to bottom about 5/8 of an inch, but at least I am in.

I looked at settin up a custom resolution, but the NVIDIA warning about damaging the monitor scared me away. What will setting up a custom resolution do for me? Will that get me full screen?

I feel like I owe all of you money for all of the help you have been giving me.

I think it is forcing you into windowed mode because of that strange resolution.

here is your monitor http://www.dell.com/content/topics/t...~section=specs

iirc, SLI actually splits your monitor in half. So, each video card gets a half. So, 2560/2 =1280 and 1600/2=800 I think that is why you seeing this message.

"...NVIDA control panel says that the native resolution for this monitor is 1280x800...".

I think you need a SLI expert on this if you are going to use SLI. The other choice, run the game on one card and turn the other off somehow. I have no idea how you do this though. You may want to use lower resolution than native to get better fps.
