in fmb the skin does show as selected in the 3d viewer and looks good in the object browser...

Yeah I have noticed this with some skins in FMB.
It seems to happen if you have Only 1 plane in a Flight so try with 4 and at least 3 should show as custom skin BUT for some reason the first one in the Flight is allways the Default Skin
A very annoying Bug
