I care, those sounds are half the fun ! On the ground , the first one sounds better ,I like the rough raggedy misfires. In the air the second one sounds much better. Also the BF109 souds wicked ..

Seems they have put a starter on the Bf109E there as no-one was cranking. And that Fw190 sounded so damn good. Screw those abominations with that Made in China crap engines And tip to devs..how about those sounds of Emil to CoD? Sound quite a bit different than now

Cranking was only required when there was no auxiliary power source. You could just plug in the cables and the starter would do the rest.
