You seem to be ignorant of the communication on other major sims. Ever heard of Microsoft communicating any dev information at all? Want to take a look at the comments on Flight's FB page? They've even disabled comments on their website now.

Even though I also appreciate this "new producer/consumer relationship"; your comparison is flawed, not to mention b*llshit!

Microsoft never released a disastrous software like CloD. They never let their clients wait for month for another experimental alpha version with limitations and full of bugs. Maybe Microsoft disabled comments on their website, but I know a company that simply deletes threads and ban the authors.

With all respect, a new producer/consumer relationship is the minumum we can expect. Let's hope and pray that this was not just a single "warm saturday in May mood"

Don't see how the comparison is flawed. They're both flight sims with devs on one side and frustrated customers waiting for months for improvements on the other. Where's the flaw?

Maybe some threads have been deleted here for going against forum rules, but there is communication, however unsatisfactory to you, between the devs and the users. There is absolutely none for Flight and as far as I know none for FSX either.

Flightsimulator X was for me in a even worse shape than CoD when i tried it the first time!!!
I couldn't even get a normal view then.

As pants as MSCFS3 was, the folks responsible for "Over Flander's Field" have done a great job making a WW1 flight sim. It still has it's draw backs, but it is fun.... though admittedly I haven't flown it in a while.

DIY... if you think it's easy... it must be...
Are you going to whine that it cost $50 or whatever? about as much as some spend on burgers, beer and broads in a month hahaha!
