Let's see...

My squad have all either not purchased CloD or uninstalled it, save for one or two of us...

I still have CTDs.

My frame rates are lower, overall.

The planes I like to fly are not worth flying at this stage of "development".

It's been over a year, and we are still in an Alpha state.

I no longer have any faith that this sim will be finished to an acceptable level.

Color me jaded.

+1 to OP, loving the day by day communication. This alpha patch is very nice.

Oh yes! One sparrow truly will make a summer this time. Mark my words, this time it will be different.

Whilst its nice to have a post every now and then by a community manager... the feedback and communication by the Develops is still by far the worst i have seen on a sim.

Why the developers don't actually contribute to their own forums at all is certainly baffling. Every other simulator forum i frequent will see developers answering questions and giving input.

The lack of developer input is a significant reason for much frustration and ill feeling in this community.. i don't see the present situation as something to be celebrated.. but instead a tidy baby step towards what should have been going on for the last year.

But as usual, a pessimist comes on here to chime in!

I'm loving the new CLOD hot fix has made it much better IMOP.

Come on you Pessimist get on the band wagon and buy a new I7 CPU and get more ram this is the future.

you old cranky system is just that old and cranky, can't handle the new engines.

Publisher is paid for communication. In case of 777 the publisher is 777 (with DCS it is the same IIRC). In case of 1C publisher outside Russia is UBI. You can try to contact UBI for updates and support on their forums. They keep the communications budget.

You seem to be ignorant of the communication on other major sims. Ever heard of Microsoft communicating any dev information at all? Want to take a look at the comments on Flight's FB page? They've even disabled comments on their website now.

I'm inclined to agree with Dutch and ElAurens. There is a pattern of behavior with luthier to bite off much more than he can chew and leave things incomplete. After a cursory stab at the eastern front and a smattering of aircraft types, they'll move on to something else. Rinse and repeat.
