Beta patches can be a disaster. Therefore most developers don't like to release beta, except to a select group of users.
It is strange how people will blame all issues they encounter after they receive a beta software. Using the term beta infers problems and that is the sum of it. Steam doesn't download betas, is my understanding. That is why we had an archived file to download. In other words, whines and complaints about beta is worthless effort. I suggest making constructive comments to help the developer. I do have some positive results from this patch, but I'm not going to make an issue out of it. Someone will certainly have a difference of opinion. LOL
