Well I'm experiencing higher fps, tons of new bugs,
& THE SAME STUTTERING! Which is what annoyed me the most before. If you want me to send logs & test your game, send me a contract for my wages. Until then I'll be explaining to my sim-pilot buds that the game is still a long way off. Thanks. |

No CTDs in 4 hrs online playing
Lots of net lag online, stutters on other AC only, from net lag Cannot get "Original Textures" to turn on the 109. This pixelated wing is more like "High" setting Weathering not working on 109 Last edited by SKUD; 05-06-2012 at 01:08 AM. |

I've un-installed & re-installed the entire game...still with the launcher crashes... My view...1C released this knowing there were many issues to quiet the whiners and cries re: "when do we get our patch...waaaaaaaah" If people would STFU and let the dev's do there jobs unmolested we would all be happy at some point. I don't care if it takes two years...just do it right. What we have now is infinitely worse than what we had... |

For me it would have been an improvement until i got launcher crashes all over the place! Then i quit it!
Ah could have been so cool if it worked! Back to Napoleon Total war III Lordz MP Mod then! |

What a total shambles.
Worse than ever and my first CTD's experienced in this game. Textures in the environment worse than before AI total BS FPS all over the place (maybe nominally faster but up and down erratically) ![]() Good bye. Good luck to those that persevere. |

I also think finally they decided to release the patch without being finished due to pressure. The statement "that" and "that" and "that" bugs are only three days of work, but releasing now is a clear signal on this. My experience: - I´m experiencing the red square when starting the game. - I have not experience any fps improvement. Still the same with the same stutters. - Still lot of stutters when fighting bombers. - CTD after ten minutes of offline flying. Before I only had these when flying online every two sorties. - Sometimes it seems the low poly cockpit exterior model is rendererd inside the cokpit. - Plus all the other bugs already mentioned. - I like the new sounds though. Returning to the previous version and lookng fordward for the next alpha/beta/gamma patch.

Sorry that I can't post a picture of it but in the FMB, text "bleeds" through the object tab thing. Overall haven't played the patch much but it seems to be a decent improvement in FPS for me at least. Tomorrow, I'll do some more testing but most likely I'll roll back since I miss the trees and grass while flying through the skies in my Tiger Moth. Best of luck getting bugs found and eleminated.

Most of the bugs i see being reported are what B6 already described: a problem in the texture loading routines.
Fuzzy gunsight reticules, blurry textures and letters in cockpit dials and markings? It's all down to the same thing, which is a known issue that's being worked on apparently, otherwise it wouldn't be in the patch notes. Same for lack of weathering and small caliber rounds damage decals. What i'm trying to say is, let's keep to reporting what is not known instead of repeating what is already known and making it harder to spot what slipped by. For example, it's much more useful to tell them if we still get launcher crashes and send them the logs, or report something that's supposedly fixed and still behaves in a broken manner, than going: B6: "Here's an alpha patch. Features A,B,C are temporarily disabled because we haven't completed them yet." Us: "Hey, thanks for the patch, but A,B and C are not working for some reason." |
