I should add, disabling the natural spawn positions of a (map based) airfield.
So that even when I place a test runway with an associated home base in the immediate proximity of map based spawn points, without using any stationary planes to spawn on, the players exclusively spawn on that set test runway.

As an additional information, I'm talking about Desert Online E-3 airfield bottom right.
There are two arrangements of spawn points, but I want the game to use neither of those and just use the test runway I place in the midst of this area instead.

I reread the 4.11_Guide and honestly didn't find a solution to that "problem".
If I should still not see the forrest by all the trees blocking my view, please give me a hint via PM, as I don't mean to high-jack the "wish list" for what maybe is just a personal misconception.

Thanks in advance !
It should still be possible to do in 4.11.1.

I suggest you start a new thread, post the mission and state exactly what you want to do. Also tell us what kind of map you intend this to be (Coop, Dogfight, etc.). If you do that, we should be able to sort it out for you.

*I assume you are talking about 4.11.1 unmodded.

**EDIT: I believe I have already figured out how to do it. However, since I'm not exactly sure I know what you want to do, you need to start a new thread and post the info I mentioned above. I don't want to hijack this thread.

MadCat,

I haven't heard from you so I'll just post the following info. Let me know if it meets your needs:

To create custom spawn points on a Dogfight map, try the following;

1. Place your Home Base. Make sure you check the 'Use stationary planes as spawn points' box. (See screenshot #1)

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Stationary Aircraft category and highlight 'Generic Spawn Point'. (See screenshot #2)

3. Place your Spawn Points in your desired locations. Make sure you check the 'Allow DF Spawn' box. Be aware that the player's plane will spawn at the exact spot and orientation you set. (See screenshot #3)

That's it. You really don't need a Test Runway to create custom spawn points.
