I didn't have a launcher crash until this beta crash now me and everyone else has it!

Do you before installing the patch:

1. Let steam check your files. (for ati users delete/rename the Logo.wmv)
2. Delete the cache files in "..\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\cache
3. Apply the patch
4. Start the game, run a mission, end the game.
5. Start the game again. (at second start the stutters normaly gone)

Hard to do with "Launcher.exe" problems (epic fail) before you can end the game.

i hardly ever used to get launcher crashes now i get them every 10-15 mins online. i reinstalled using method given including defrag before patch install deleted cache etc

on the upside my fps in increased, shame i cant play it long enough for a sortie anymore

Please make sure you send crash dump files from
Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\cppcrash

to ishevchenko@1cpublishing.eu

Also try disabling HyperThreading in BIOS. Does it make any difference?

I tried that with the last patch. It didn't work.

Why? Does CloD actually use HT? If it doesn't then what is the point of turning it off, or on for that matter?
