I too would be interested in this as i fly coops a lot, it would be really cool (not sure if cool is ther right word?) to have a semi immersive control on your radio for squadmates. With push to talk and so fourth...

In short: use Teamspeak or Ventrilo where you can choose which audio system will get the outgoing sound. Thats easy. Greetz, Allons!

In a normal system, can frontal and back audio panels be used independently?? can i do that with only the onboard audio system of my rig?

I use old cheap SB Audigy 2zs for game sound and onboard soundcard for TS.
If you have 5 or 7-channel soundcard maybe you may program rear outputs as a separate device. Depends on drivers you use I think. Possible for Creative cards with 3rd party kX drivers IIRC. |

Yes.
Under windows 7, I have the onboard sound as the default playback device and my logitech usb headset as the default communications device. Game sound goes through my desktop speakers and teamspeak goes through the headset. |

For TS and game sonds it is clear, but what about to split ingame sounds and ingame radio for offliners??

S!
I very much doubt it. So, nope, unless the devs specifically create such a feature. And I doubt there is much demand for such feature, so... :-/

See it the same way. Until the devs seperate the sounds or even give us this possibility, it wouldn't be possible easily.
I am starting to dream about a ts3 mod like ACRE for arma 2, if you know that. With this tool, youvget a complete invironment within teamspeak, which is working as in real life. And if you get shot, the enemy has the possibility to rob the radio and listen to the radio commands of the other side as soon as they not change frequency. But I so not know, what information acre needs and if it is also possible to add it in clod as a mod. |

You cannot have the in-game radio sent to a different audio device. It runs on the same output channel as the engine, guns etc..
You can, of course, add your VoIP to its own device under most newer windows setups. |
