Well. I am one of the modders (in February 2011, both throttle levers and pedals; pictures here) and the changes I made are still very effective Because I built my own controls and panel later I did not bother to mod the three trim controls of the stick and the R1 and R2 on the throttle (which I do not use at all), so those still show the ReversalBug (Firmware flashed to 1.42).

I do not know about ReversalBug (throttle, pedals, trims) in recent versions of the G940 (and please, before anyone claims that it is not there, research thoroughly what it is and how it is detected), but I read of throttle R1 and R2 spikes (broken cable within throttle, pictures here) sometimes here and there.

However, modded the G940 is a charm. Well constructed, very solid, and I wouldn't do without the Forcefeedback for the world.

I really like my G940, I would say all the spiking issues are only to do with wires breaking, the wires are quite stiff and dont seem to like being bent and moved around in the parts of the unit that move, I have done extensive re wiring and fixing and it works like a charm now, and it's the only hotas system with FF.

Hi Talisman,

Sorry about the late response, I was a bit preoccupied with 'other issues'.

I've had my G940 for nearly a year and it's superb.

Do make sure you thoroughly clean out any old stick software before installing though. I had a few weird issues which were down to old software conflicting with new (I think). Just a heads up. You'll love the stick though.

What your G940 is worth u will only realize if you are flying some time afterwards with one of the normal HOTAS - it feels like playing Tennis with your left arm...
