So in essense, you are trying out your imagination online, your dreams, theories and wildest fantasies to get feedback or start debate of wether it's possible or not?

I can understand that you would do this in science forums, but why the combat aviation sim forum? Do you wish you were born in the 20's some times so you could pilot WW2 aircraft for real? Did you ever wish there was a synthetic reality (like in the matrix) where you can connect to a synthetic world, customizable to time and place. There you could technically "play games" with your own simulated body, experience the world as if you were there physically, through signals sent from a computer to your brain?

I think the future may bring stuff like that. Remove the controllers, keyboard and mouse. Use your brain directly as a controller, screen and user interface.

If we ever invent this, people will spend more time in their "perfect synthetic" life, than Real life. It's a scary thought.

either way, back on subject, why the IL-2 clod pilots lounge?
