For one, if you managed to dig up enough info to find this forum, then why not dig out the info here to answer your questions? Oh wait, you don't have any questions? Hmm... then this is just a statement? Why state something everyone here knew since last year when it was released?

I smell someone being banned then creating a new account to continue their troll. If I am wrong, then I do apologize and I would suggest you spend 15 minutes reading some 100+ other similar threads here and use the same responses as an indication to what is going on.

Find the users Luthier and Blacksix, then go to show all posts. Really, that is the only relevant stuff on these forums, besides the serious bug reports and improvement suggestions.

Improvements are being made, your money may feel wasted now, but after a little more time it will be much better than now. It already is way better than when it was initially released, if that is any comfort. You've missed out on the worst parts Consider yourselv supporting a cause, you won't benefit from it now, but at a later time. Cheers

Yep, 7 mill and 8 years was clearly not enough.

Rise of flight must really be hurting for players.

Actually RoF is fun, in spite of its faults, but it is also a very small community of players and is teetering on the edge of the financial abyss, which is why I decided to support the genre and start playing it again.

But it's no IL2 and never will be.

At time of screenie* (Sat 21st April 8.40pm GMT) RoF actually had more players online than CoD....just checked. More on a lot of weekends recently, actually. The numbers are very low through the week though, for sure.

I think everyone knows that WWII will generally always be more popular amongst simmers than WWI. More powerful aircraft, bigger guns etc. The numbers should not even be close, or similar, really.

Hopefully CoD online will have more numbers post patch. Looking forward to it.

The ignore list is like a pair of rose colored tinted glasses. It makes you see this ugly mess of a world beautiful and happy....The ugly mess still blows, you just pretend what you see through your tinted glasses is reality.

....plus you miss half the fun.

Absolutely.

It's a bit like the kid at school constantly coming up to tell you they're ignoring you, waving a big placard saying 'I am ignoring you'.

It generally raises a wry smile of indulgence.

What slightly surprises me over the years is that you'd expect the complainers/whiners/critics (I am one) to post more, since they are not busy playing the game.

But in this case, on this forum, many of the self-styled anti-whiners post more frequently, or at least as frequently, as those who have no interest in playing the game as it stands...wchich suggests they're also not playing it a whole bunch either.

If it's so great, why aren't they playing it more instead of posting here? Or waving placards/Ignore Lists

It speaks volumes.

Not sure about that. The more people that use the ignore feature and don't see these ridiculous 'he said/she said' arguments the better this place will be. I don't spend my time with people that don't interest me in real life, why should I do it here? With limited time to spend here currently, I would rather not spend it reading pages of public internet arguments between the same 3-4 people. Who would...
