Yes ...but we deserve better..."problem with graphics engine" after all indications that the patch will be released this week is simply not good enough. I do think Ilia should pop over to this forum with some decent explanations on what went wrong, if it can be fixed and roughly how long it will take to fix those issues...we deserve that much I think... for our patience!

I guess so. I mean just a Luthier thread with explanation of what the last bug is about and what are the views on the probable fix period (although Black6 already posted that it may take a week more).

One post locked sticky thread would do.

I am not sure where you read that the patch would be released this week, the post I read had a big *IF* (no problems are found) on it. This is completely normal, I don't know why people get so anxious over this.

What exactly would accomplish getting Ilya to post some "decent explanations"? Surely it would not speed up the game engine patch, and considering they will be using said engine for their next release aswell, it is to be expected that they will either fix it or find a compromise solution. As for when this will happen... I don't think they have a crystal ball .

Veltro and Addman pointed out the facts which speak for themselves. There is no apparent proof that the work BlackSix and Luthier are forwarding to us. We only see forums posts so far and it is understandable that some choose to believe it (like me) and some do not. 6 months from the last patch is much time, for any already released game project.

In light of that, releasing the alfa patch might be a good way of showing that something actually is going on.

My only beef with such users demanding the alfa is that few months ago all they wanted is weekly updates. Now we have those updates yet they want even more. How is that ok vs the good will of the devs who sufficed to the weekly update demand?
