I'm just trying to push the pre-patch euphoria down to realistic levels here, imagine the anti-climax when some people still are experience regular CTD's after the patch. As B6 and luthier themselves said in the update:

Finally, we need to mention the launcher.exe crashes. This was a very hard issue to address as it wasn't caused by a single 100% reproducible bug, but rather rare combinations of various uncommon events.

It wasn't a single bug that they could just locate and squash with a couple of lines of code but by re-writing the engine and optimizing it they have probably minimized the chance of CTD's to a ridiculously low level. I'm sure someone will still have a CTD or two after the patch but they will most likely be a lot less frequent and a lot less common.

P.S There never was a CTD bug, the whole game engine was the bug.

I have no idea how you got that from his post.

You'll feel right at home then. Picking another meaningless fight?

Small dot at 12 o'clock. Growing larger. Has wings. Must be an argument on the horizon. Must be a Hayward, flaps stuck.

You really (ought to) take some beating.
