It does beg the question if they tested the orignal release on any PC's at all??

No, they tested on Etch A Sketches. Frame rates were a little slow, but they released it anyways.

Yeah, I know, I'm a bit embarrassed really but I just know how this whole forum will just explode in whining after the beta patch is released and just one person gets a CTD, OMG it's so predictable it's not even funny.

Theres a reason for instrumenting a plane for test..
That being a pilots's 'perception' of what is going on can be very different from what is 'actually' going on.
