I have a related inquiry...

How important is contrast ratio?

I see many 22inchch LCD monitors in the $250 range...that typically have a 5m response time and 700:1 contrast ratio 1680 X 1050...

Would a monitor with these specs cut the cheese?

What are the important features/specs that one should look for?
