I love it , however I found out putting a deadzone in roll , and turning off the
zoom feature works best for me . I can aim better and I prefer joystick buttons
for quick zoom in and out , FOV 40 , Wide View,Normal View, and Gunsight View...etc.
All this works great but I still get my butt shot down all the time

The only problem I have with my TrackIR is that my cleaning lady does not understand it's an expensive piece of equipment and every other time she has cleaned our house it's on the floor behind the monitor as she simply MUST clean all the dust on top of the monitor for some reason

If TIR is worth its weight in gold... and you have to pay respectively. And FreeTrack is, as the name suggests, free, and from personal use + with talks with my squad mates + other v.pilots who use TIR, I have determined that it is as good or even better(when talking about resistance to interference from the sun or lights behind you) than TIR... so it is also worth its weight in gold .. but free. So is FT as a theoretical substance worth infinite moniez?

S!

Been using TIR for years..first the 3 + VectorExpansion and now 4Pro with TrackClip Pro. Can not even fly without it if had to use POV views, tested and crashed in a scissor move on ATAG For those using AMD cards do NOT use 12.4 drivers with the latest 5.1.3 TIR software, you will get an error and TIR will not launch. Reason is, from NaturalPoint, some OpenGL files in the new drivers that can cause this. I reverted back to 12.3 WHQL and CAP1 = works as before. Just FYI.

PS! Untamo, no hobby is free

Nope. You mistake weight for value Of course FT is worth the weight of your webcam and IR emitter (if you have one) in gold.

I can vouch for FaceTrackNoIR's awesomeness.

It's a great alternative to those who don't want to spend a bunch on TrackIR or want to try out the whole headtracking thing before purchasing hardware.

FaceTrackNoIR is freeware, requires only a webcam (PS3 Eye for best results), and a human(?) face.

Works great and smoothly once you dial your settings in.
