This nonsense about 'it will be released when it is done' is bologna. Of course it will be!

Deadlines are when work is to be completed, and they're used in every industry. Any professional is expected to have and meet deadlines. The fact that they cannot or will not do this is what makes everyone upset because of the distinct lack of professionalism.

If I could tell my boss that my reports will 'be done when they are done' or if I could stick a pizza and the oven and set the dial to 'until its done' mode, the world would be a better place, but this is not how things work.

If it were NOT done when it was done, then we would have a serious issue.
