Default If the next patch 'fixes' the Performance issues, what should be next on the list?

Now I suppose that is a Sandbox question, but if the Graphics issue bug fixes are close to what is hoped for, this should mean other fixes can be worked on.

If you could choose the next 3 things to be enhanced/repaired/fixed, what would you want the Developer's to prioritise (not for BoM just CloD original release)?

Mine are:

1) Make the front-end interface more user friendly when it comes to adding ammunition to your aircraft. The amount of times I have wanted to try a different loadout but can't change it to another type...well, I've lost count! I still don't know why I can't choose the ammunition I want

2) AI. BoB:WoVII has this as close to perfect as anyone could want....and boy do we want it!

3) This one is my personal preference, please make the in-game .avi Recorder/Creator work! Currently I render 1-frame every 20-seconds, which if you want to create anything is a ridiculous amount of time. Currently it will have to be FRAPS forever, which makes me wonder why they included the in-game .avi creator

Your suggestions

Have a look at www.il2bugtracker.com & run the *All sorted by number of votes* query to get an idea of what the community is voting for. Top 5 in vote order to-date:

1. Coop Interface/GUI
2. Landing gear shown down at other planes even when retracted.
3. Missing - Ju87 B-2 - Jericho horn.
4. The broken parts of damaged aircrafts don´t impact on your aircraft.
5. In-game Communications System Inoperative.

No, he would have signed an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).

As for what's next - I think BoM will be the focus tbh...

1. GUI- everything from menus, ammo selections, skins, front end for COOPs and MP need a major overhaul and bringing into 2012 and not the 1980's Russian puzzle that it seems to be designed to annoy and frustrate deliberately that it is now.

2. AI - very important for the offliners, but also important for MP.

3. FSAA, AAF and DX11.

GUI is my #1 thing as well. It is so clunky and difficult to navigate the menus. They need to make everything much more intuitive and modern. For example check out the GUI for Rise of Flight. Their quick mission generator is amazing! It's not just a bunch of drop down menus...it's interactive and shows you visually how to adjust settings, not just with text.

I doubt we see the GUI redone for CloD though. My bet is they will redo it for BoM, then when you "merge" CloD into BoM we will get the new GUI. But as for CloD stand alone I doubt they will use their limited resources on redoing it and focus on the sequel.

This sim is beautiful. I love the graphics. Once it's running at great fps, along with some AA it will be mind blowing. The jaggies really need to get fixed as Furbs has stated. It's 2012. Give me AA.

+1

The ROF GUI is light years ahead of CLOD, in fact when i first saw the CLOD GUI in the update pics i thought it was a bad joke. Its just awful and seems like something from the 90's, EAW's GUI was better.
In the 7 years of development did they not plan for a up to date user friendly intuitive GUI?

EAW's GUI was better and was released in 1998
