Thumbs up!
I was crying for a bug tracker already in last may!
So finally things go growing! I also use the "DevHeaven"/Arma Tracker since years!

Quote:
the only thing is: should i register a new domain or will be fine to use bugs.devizer.com (replace bugs with anything you want) because I already have devizer.com for my business.
If it cost you sth keep it as it is.
On the other hand a domain like Clod.Bugtracker.com or sth familar to the topic would be easy to remind.
But everyone who is interested to support this and make entries will know where to find the website.

So imho keep it, as i guess it is the easiest way for ya!

Keep it up, fully supporting this !!

Well this is an awesome idea, there's no doubt about that. The dev's must already have some sort of tracker though? Unless they're just using a big white board.

Ought to try to get them on board, as without their support your hard work will be meaningless, unfortunately.

bugtracker.allthedamnedextensions are taken, il2bugtracker is available (.com,.eu, etc.)

now, will be ok for the devs if we do it? BlackSix, if you are reading this, can you ask Ilya if it's ok? Ataros, can you make a new thread asking it so it will be visible?

redmine is up and running...

I do not think he will see it in even in a separate thread but here is a quote from luthier:

5. Have you considered a formal bug tracking system that the community can get involved in? It is difficult to tell what bugs the devs are/are not aware of at the moment since the bug threads do not get feedback.

Sorry, we have no technical capabilities to set up a public database, or resources to maintain and update it.
A community-run database however would not be a terrible thing at all!

Let's get it ready for the patch and announce in the patch thread.

CliffsofBugs.com

and here is the banner

just kidding.

il2bugtracker.com is fine imho.
I guess there is no need for permission by devs, as a bugtracker is a highly welcome feature for any dev out there.

According to the first probs we had in the BIS forums, I guess the main issue will be to make the community use the tracker.
But however keep it coming, great input!

Shouldn't that be the other way round?

Never was so much owed to so many(us) by so few(developers)

Let's push it step by step. If it works maybe one day 1C merges it with this forum to allow forum users post bugs without new registration in bugtracker.
