Moggel:

Its been so long since I have even messed with the offline stuff, cant really help you there However, I would encourage you to go ahead and go online/Multiplayer, your flying skills are not important (attitude is though as we already know all the stuff wrong)

Team Speak is a must, if you dont have it theirs plenty of info on our forums (or here for that matter)

http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/forum.php

Once you are on comms we can personally help you with any issue.

here is a link to adjusting the info windows you asked about

If you see me on TS give me a holler and we will get on a help channel and got you going

Knuckles

Definitely hook up with a squadron - it's the best, and you'll learn more, faster.
But pick one right for you and fly with them first so you get a feel for it all. Make sure the flying members are in the same timezone or you'll find yourself alone a lot.

In the end, if you are not asked to join and you want to, then ask - any squad worth it's salt will welcome new members.

My crew is post #5, we do allied and axis and more importantly, we are active. If you want to jump in with us you are welcome.

Thanks guys, I will definetly look into joining a squad when I feel ready for it. I flew countless hours in the virtual Luftwaffe of World War II Online some years back and the online experience is great!

Can anyone else please give some advice for the other questions (UI text, map etc.)?
