I've had the same problem early on. I do not know exactly what I did, but my bombs are blowing up now. My aiming is a different story, but the bombs are working. Not sure if the bombs have to be airborn for a specific period before they arm. Which case a low and fast approach might not give them enough time to arm.
As mentioned above, I set my bomb delay to 11 seconds. (5-8 seconds would be great, but that is not an option) As you noted the bomb bay doors need to be opened on the Blenhiem (You should see confirmation of this in the HUD log) As for the Bf110 you need to manually arm the bombs before you release them. (No bomb bay doors though) WildWillie |

I had the same issue when I first started flying the Blenheim, I was trying to find someone that could look at my bomb bay to see if they were even there.
First off to see if they are loaded. Spawn in, dont even start, open bomb bay, drop all the bombs, if they are there you will see dirt fly up all over the aircraft. With that said bombload HAS to be selected first on the "Weapons Set" Central Bomb Bay ======= select the 500 or 250 lb bombs Wing Bomb Bay and Bomb Rack will be empty (not modeled) On Bomb Page Try the No. 27 Mk. 1 Pistol-General Purpose 11 second delay ALWAYS See if that helps: Look for me on Comms and we can go to a help channel and get this sorted out. A Blenheim can really be versatile and fun (when your bombs work that is) Knuckles |

Thanks for your answers! Maybe I hit the "back" button instead of "ok", it is possible. I will have to try that out first
![]() Despite that I did all of that what you guys wrote. Just a small sound effect of bombs released would be awesome, even if it is just a "click sound" due to the "release bombs" button ^^ |

Hm sadly I can't figure out what the problem is.
I choose the Blenheim, choose the right loadout and fuze, hit "ok" and not "back". Click "create", appear on the battlefield. My squadmate can confirm that my bomb bays open when I hit the right button, but when I want to release my loadout I don't see any dirt near my cockpit coming from the bombs hitting the ground and my squadmate don't see any bombs falling out the plane either.... ![]() I found out that this is the case for all bombers on ATAG.... I once flew bomb runs with the He-111 against enemy airfields, but dont see any explosions. Since then I thought it was because of bad aiming, but now I'm convinced its because of the bombs dont fall.... or because I dont have any bombs inside ![]() |

Don I know this is frustrating: not sure of the issue.
What I would really like to do is get on comms with you and start from scratch, do some flying so i can first hand see whats up. The Blenheim is really a hoot to fly and bomb (what it works that is) I'll be looking for you Knuckles |

In controls > aircraft, what key or button do you have Drop Ordnance bound to? Sounds to me like whatever key/button you are using is not working.
Just for testing purposes go on ATAG and take a Bf 110 C-7. The console behind the stick will show when the bombs are armed (Ctrl +W by default) and the lights will turn yellow. When you hit the bomb release button the light will go out. If it does not try binding Drop Ordnance to a different key. |
