the RoF are canned and scripted FM's, with their current game core it wont get any better then what it is now, and/or has been in the past

This is so irrelevant. You have missed the word "biased" in post of Winger. If he thinks that RoF is biased towards Allies, then I wonder what he will think when La5s will be appearing in IL2 sequels.

OT:

And what do you expect? FM based on extensive flight tests?

There is so little info about how those aieplanes flew. Modern flight test data comes from the 50s or 60s. And I mean "modern". In WWII era the did have flight test but mainly based on the main parameters and never combined as it was done later when E-M diagrams were created.

In wwI era they were just trying to fix the biggest engine possible in a given airframe or an airframe around a given engine.

I think the 777 guys have done a hell of a job, taking into consideration the amount of factual information available.

Ill just fly them then Just like i started to fly allied porsches in ROF. No matter wich side. Its just stupid to favor one side over the other if i am a developer. Sadly seems to be common in Flightsims.

nice, good to see the major gfx card upgrade made such an improvement am just slightly concerned you are qualifying your statement with the "nearly smoothly" it was running and "nearly stutterless"

for a 500$ card with 2gb vram, i'd expect/hope it would run smooooooth and flawless in all circumstances (over city, with large plane formations and close formation flying, flying through hangars, and with dust/smoke)

we need that gfx patch !!

Hey highness, I noticed you had the model detail set to high, try original, its probably the last setting you want move down. You should notice the cockpits and planes are improved with little performance hit

Let us know if its better for you
