No, I think he needs to grow up and wait for the next update.

Or, if growing up is not an option, leave quietly so that I am not tempted to make fun of someone who is almost in tears over a game.

Although David here is a little blunt The forum is starting to resemble an MMO forum... yes, that is an insult just in case you never spent any time on an MMO forum

As if anyone cares... I remain optimistic about COD, since I have been assured by direct communication from the developer that they are still working on it. If the message from them comes to 'funding withdrawn, sorry folks that's it' I will be disappointed, and I will think twice about buying their next product. I already kick myself for buying another title from UBIsoft after the SH5 nonsense.

I think the OP was OK, he seems like a nice kid, managed to keep the swearing down to a couple of words and he is obviously frustrated, but there was a little too much 'I want' yadda yadda for me to take him seriously, but after all he's just kid, they do tend to do that. He has his opinion and he shared it, and a video does avoid some of the misunderstanding that can result from reading messages. It was certainly less extreme than some posters have been here. No need for hating on him, he has a lot to learn and the time to learn it. I would be more sympathetic to someone like my dad who has probably a year at best left in him, and might never get to see the work completed.

A forum can only be as good as its members and there has been some truly foul behaviour round here of late. Whatever your opinion is, personal insults and plain ad hominem attacks show only one thing, the bad attitude of the poster. Call me a fanboy or a whiner all you like, but try to remember exactly how much of a shnizzle I give, which is exactly none. If it really bothers you that much, then you could quite likely benefit from professional help, behavioural therapy, anger management, whatever it takes. Life is too short to worry about a videogame, chalk it up to experience and vote with your wallet in future. For the life of me I can't understand why people are continuously baiting each other here, If I ran these forums I would seriously consider just getting rid of this one, and letting people get their updates from non-interactive sites or through Steam. The forum is a privilege, as is the channel of communication with the developer, neither of these things are a right no matter what you were 'promised' or what you paid. Try to be grateful for it, as I am.

Regards, Sam.

Does anyone happen to have a receipt or product package that has clearly stamped on it, xx$ for Work In Progress (WIP). Not many products and I mean products, are sold to the general public as a WIP, and just for the record anyone who purchase this game and is not satisfied with it has a right to complain as much and as often as they like, just like you're complaining about them complaining. The more the problems are keep in the front the more likely they are to be addressed. So keep complaining even if it's about the same issues and maybe just maybe they'll get tired of hearing it and fix the problem. Lets you forget, this is 2012 and not everyone wants/willing to wait another 5-7 years to get a product that's usable to them, the key words here is "usable to them". TC

Thank you for pointing out the obvious logic.

Bash them until they get tired and fix it ...

Yes, much like a 5 year old will ask "are we there yet" until his parents are finally forced by his whining to actually drive "there".

Who knew that the "are we there yet" strategy was so effective?

So now the ones constantly babbling on and on and on about the same s**t over and over and over again are the mature ones and the people that's sick and tired of hearing the same s**t over and over again the immature ones (the state of affairs at this point is irrelevant and yes you heard me saying that)

What is this, the twilight zone?

And if anyone regurgitates the same old bl**dy "arguments" as to why they are disappointed, so help me good ill scream.

P.S. To the OP, what's so hard to understand? They are working very hard to make CloD into what we ALL expect. Why do you feel a need to send a message to Luthier, do you actually think he will respond? Trust me, he wont. He and the team are to busy working. You are not expecting an answer, you already have the same information all the rest of us do. Maby you are dissapointed but the reason some "mock" you is because enough is enough. Its tiresome because this "sharing of opinions" has been going on for months now and it WILL NOT make things happen any faster, period. Just dont think you are alone in bringing allot of people to the brink of an emotional breakdown, your not. Your post is just the tip of months and months long barrage of the same crap repeated ad nauseum. Except the facts and live with it or take, as you say, a break, a long enough brake to make you realize that there are more important stuff to waste energy on in life. All the people complaining did have a chance to return the DVD and get a refund (dont know how it is where everyoneelse lives but here its a right by law, so no excuses if you dont return it) but instead they choose not to and instead infested every forum remotely linked to flight sims acting like victims and "normal", for lack of a better word, people are fed up with it, period.

Report bugs etc by all means but leave the "victim" attitude at the door, short and to the point is all that's needed, or wanted at this point.

My request to all who is fed up is this: Dont post in any thread that you KNOW will derail because of for mentioned reasons, if you don't those threads will be very very short and monotonousness.
