You say it crashes after 45 min? This game has always been one thing for me: Stable. Can go in and out of the game in windows, go in again. Never crashed on me.
What system do u have? Ram? 3d card?
Lot of computer troubles comes with a lot if shit installed on ur machine. Keep it clean.
