I have is exactly the same conflict with users Sukhoi.ru.
Any information and my words cause negative. Updates about the next game cause negative. All slips to one question - when the patch?
I don't see the opportunity to work with forums before the appearance of the patch.

Please don't be silent. That's the last thing anyone wants. But you must realize when you announce "we are very close to a beta release" on a patch, most people think "very close" means a few days to a few weeks at most. All anyone wants is to be updated why.

Heck, if you tell us you can't have some sort of beta patch ready because of x,y, or z, people will understand. But if you say I have no information about it, when what we heard earlier was "it's almost ready" then that isn't the right path to take IMO.

Just give us some info. Tell us what the problems are. In doing that people will understand. But saying something is almost ready without delivering or giving a reason why, will set a bad tone.

I'll remain patient regardless, but it shouldn't be too hard to give us some information. This isn't some secret program for the military. We are talking about a video game
