So uh...it's like two weeks away from that date (25th), and no word on the main site, or from the admins on this forum. That strike anyone else as odd?

Not really it seems as if the updates for english are always late but I guess its to be expected, Tempo obviously speaks russian, apparently in the Russian forums there is a post saying its gone gold and I would imagine since he relayed the message it was from an administrator. Just keeping my fingers crossed

This info was from developers DM and Zakker before on unofficial forum http://forums.ag.ru/?board=fl_main&a...766&start=1525 (post #1535), and past on official game forum http://kingsbounty.ru/forum/index.ph...topic=213&st=0 (post #15).
There is no comments from 1C. Russian users on forum suggests that official info probably will be on tuesday next week. There is good tradition of 1C to publish info on 10 days before release date.

Ah ok...if that's the case it makes sense then. I guess I am unfamilar with the way European devs conduct business, as most US devs publish their release dates much earlier (like as soon as they have a concrete date).

Fortunately I was wrong about traditions. 1C has been published official info today
http://games.1c.ru/, http://games.1c.ru/kingsbounty/
Official release date of russian version is actually april 25th. But there is no info about other language versions yet.
