Default When will next patch be released?

I like many others are infuriated at the absolute rort we have been victim of, having paid good money for a substandard product. Even worse, to add to this frustration, efforts are now going off on a tangent to develop ridiculous things like controllable AA and future expansion packs ? Outright theft!

I do not wish to put blame on anyone but would rather just please like to have this mess fixed as soon as possible; that is to say, fix this unfinished product and not focus on things that are not ready to be added yet.

Anyway, in short- when is the next patch coming out please? Everyone knows we need AI fixed immediately at number 1, closely followed by many other glaringly obvious shortcomings. This game is not fit to play. When can we expect something please? It has been a long time since version 1.05 now.

Quote from BS, but doesn't say when it will be released, but doesn't sound like it will be too much longer.

"Graphics-wise, we’re dealing with a last-minute issue as we speak. We rather unexpectedly found a problem with our aircraft decals, i.e. the code that places crosses and roundels and chevrons etc on top of the aircraft paintscheme. The code is being rewritten, the work should be finished in about 2 days. Once it’s done we can take much more accurate benchmarks. We’ll post then when we have them."

I think its more your fault for not doing your due diligence before buying the product. Kidding aside, I'm sure the developer is thankful for our investment in COD, which has made it possible for the sim to be finished instead of canceled.

The patch is much closer, and should make the sim much more playable on average systems. No much word yet on what improvements has been made on the FM, DM, AI, Commands, etc, although I'm quite sure the people working on those features didn't stop to watch the one guy working on ground vehicles. You should see many new features, and improvements to the FM, DM, AI, Commands, Graphics thru the life of the series.

I think the only substandard thing is our PCs and GPUs today:

The tragic thing is that after the whole outcry regarding the poor graphics performance of the game, precious programming ressources are used creating a "graphics-light" version of the game.

Tragic is also that we are a very small community. If we were like the WOW or some other nae I do not remember with 14million users, we could have kicked ATI & NV to bring new GPUs into the market and a lot o our problems would have been solved.

Part of life...
