Nice. What age range are you teaching this too? I believe stuff like this is how teaching should develop. The worst way to teach IMO is read this answer these questions which so many teachers do.

It's an absolutely great idea mate. I tried to sell it to my sons teacher - and offered him a cpl of hours leave while I told the class about BoB and use BoP as an asset, but nope... Headmaster won't allow ps3 in teaching. Wonder why boys at around 14 struggle in school!
Hope you make it! Go get'em Btw... I voted for u |

Like the maths teacher at college for A levels. It doesnt matter how well I teach it if you put the time in and do thousands of questions you will learn it. which I know for a fact is utter BS Last edited by haitch40; 02-13-2012 at 08:29 PM. |

thats a real shame McQ!!! maybe you can talk olife into making you a slide show that you can do on a laptop projector or something. you guys have a rich history in ww2 aviation....a little creativity might spark a whole lot of interest and creativity from minds that young.

The thing is I showed a few of my sons friend BoP and not only where they impressed of the old man being a gamer(!) they loved the graphics, the planes, the lot! And they did it pretty well in sim too!! Then I asked if they were interested in wwii and they were ofcourse. When my son got his jacket stolen on school I called up his teacher and we took it from there, but the headmaster is a woman, forgett me if I sound sexistic on this - I know I work myself up sometimes on that one - but it seems so typical. The prjudices against games, "violence" and all that stuff... The little guys were cheering the idea, but the school didn't want it. I was a teacher for a cpl of years as well. Kids loved me...
Norwegian kids and boys especially struggle in midschool from 12-15. They are bored to death! Every thing a little boy could do back in the 60, 70 are killed by prohibitions because they can hurt themselves!! That's what boys are ment to do for criss sake... |
