Many servers are running with ports between 21000 and 21100. Just as a hint.

Thx,
It seems that spit vs 109 and grij dedicato doesn´t work for me. Router is ok but i don´t know if there´s a way to set ports in zonealarm. I´ve given il2.exe acces to internet and there´s no other options as far as i can see. Other 4.11 & up servers works ok and this started right after update

timeout0 means mods conflict. Make sure your full path to the clean install is correct in HL

For me 2 or 3 times it hapened that my game setings was causing the problem. and it was with gRiJ server. In the game go to internet connection and try to change from DSL cable, or LAN to 56k or 28k, (or other, i dont remember) than as a test join gRiJ and see what hapens. That was my problem. Probably when you installed 4.11.1 it made setings go back to default and problem solved.
