BadAim, first of all, to thank you for the truth by your reply. And secondly to tell you that not is if you have understood well or not. I think that I want to say that should not have many problems with the old missions provided il 1946 may have the double verification of the structure of folders. I here understand that I want to say I can not overwrite a on top of others, i.e. they must be clean. Is it so? Anyway not be how well can do double verification.

I deeply appreciate your interest and if you have any ideas but please tell me her.

I already tell you that what I have done has been to remove the entire missions of a version folder and copy entire folder missions where they are older missions, and does not work.

Something more?

Thank you of heart.

The mission files are really just text files. You can copy, remove, scramble them all around. What matters is that the mission files are located in the correct folders. So for example IL-2 1946/Missions/Single/DE/Bf109/ should contain a single mission for the Bf109 flying for Germany. Actually the last part doesn't matter at all... anything could be there so long as it's a mission file.

It doesn't matter if the mission file was made with IL-2 1.0 or IL-2 1946 4.11. Mission file format hasn't changed in any significant way and I've tested many missions that were done on older versions with absolutely no problems in terms of the mission loading and running.

AI and flight model changes sometimes affect the mission design... but as far as the mission loading and working there are no problems.

What is the error or problem that you are having? I'm having difficulty figuring it out.

I am also having a little problem understanding totally. My feeling is that he is simply copying, transferring, or whatever you want to call it, incorrectly. In other words, he is putting the mission folders into the wrong place.
