It's not steam-version. I have seen that thread, and I tried it. Did not help.

Hmm. So you can play it, but it won't connect on Online/Multiplayer games?
That is a common problem as far as I know. Me and one of my friends have the same problem most of the time. It just does not connect :S.
Although, Suddenly it might just change and then it works. You'll have to live according to the will of the game until next patch is released I fear
