Hi Mr.X
That`s absolute a nobel thing you are doing there my freind and do wish you all the luck in sharing your experience on the 109 and hurri. Im looking forward to se all the questions the community will throw at you. I do have an opening question for you regarding settings for the oil cooler in the 109. Do you open it full? Yesterday someone told me that haveing the cooler at a 30 degree setting would increase the power of the engine and by, that also an increase in acceleration as well. Your comments please kind regards Svend Aka Pingu online |

The majority of the players on ATAG respect and admire your piloting skills (me included).
BTW, the 71st_AH squadron asked if you could fly your BF109 in their formation for a screen shot picture that they could post on their website. I only mention this because I saw them flash the message (shortly after you exchanged salutations with them) but said that you didn't quite understand due to language difficulties. 1. You seem to get very good performance looking at all your videos - what are the specifications of your PC? When BoM is released I sicerely hope you will be flying RED for Mother Russia and also because I will be on your side - for a change......lol!

+1 Evangaluse.
I was an early skeptic, thinking "Nobody is THAT good!" LOL I haven't had a chance to watch all the videos yet, but early on I noted a few things: 1) Flying and gunnery skills. These two are the most obvious. 2) Knowledge of the aircraft's strengths and weaknesses. 3) Tactics - putting (1) and (2) to best use. 4) Discipline - sticking with (3) and not fighting the other guy's fight. Knowing when to get in aggressively and when to get out and not pushing a bad situation, even when it's tempting. Now, all I have to do is master 1, 2, 3, and 4. Piece of cake! LOL Thanks for posting these videos, MK.Mr.X!

Some highlights in English for Bf-109E1 basic training video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=sipyhBXx8rE 1st figure is timing in the above video. 0.24 Stop prop pitch immediately on spawn. 1.58 Trim after take-off 3.16 2100-2200 RPM for horizontal flight 3 climb modes: 4.10 - shallow climb with no speed loss - 2230-2250 RPM. Start climb at 350+ km/h. 370-390 km/h - optimal speed. This mode can be used to extend from enemy or quickly fly to some area. 4.48 - medium climb - maintain 2300 RPM & speed <= 300 km/h 5.46 - max climb rate - 2380-2400 RPM - 260 km/h 6.50 In a climb (or dive) do not change prop pitch to 12:00 (or full coarse) immediately. Change it in small steps to maintain 2250-2280 RPM in a climb. Set 12:00 @ 320 km/h and below. 7.24 In a dive gain 2300 RPM before setting more coarse pitch May change after patch. |
