This error obviously affects all current 4.11 installations and it looks like it is caused by the newly introduced "DT.dll" which holds parts of the new AI code.
Besides asking myself how much shifting java code into native libraries copes with the statement "we're not going to encrypt the game", I'd say this is subject to be fixed by TD since neither users nor modders can do anything about coding issues inside native libraries.

It is funny, on one hand it was said that DT doesn't encrypt 4.11 and on the other hand, use of DLL is a means to crypt it.

Where is the logic?

Confirming multiple CTDs since installing v4.11. Game is unplayable at this point.

Not knocking TD but a little disappointed about this. Looks like a very good patch otherwise with all the new content, but the CTDs need to be addressed.

I'd recommend not to judge too hard just because of this bug. Yes, it's annoying, particularly for offline players, but on the other hand having bugs in initial public releases is nothing special at all.
Depending on each one's attitude it's better either to just go on reporting other/additional bugs apart from this well known one, or to just sit back and relax until a hotfix or even 4.11.1 is out.
