Default AI stall speed.

I put my B25 in autopilot, and when he is in the final, full flaps but still 50 or plus meters high, befor the begining of the runway, i assume control and the plane imediatly stalls, even if i raise the trottle. Is this also part of the AI "cheats"?

You're doing it wrong. In final approach, you should fly your bird like a helicopter, meaning throttle for altitude control and elevator for speed control. Push your nose down may prevent the stall. (Sorry for being such smarta$$ )

You can actually use the AI no overheat "feature" as a cheat offline. If you fly autopilot to the target you start the battle with a cold engine.

One of the most annoying features of current AI with respect to to the offline autopilot is the way it can use flaps without damage at high speed. This means if you exit autopilot at high speed there is always a risk of flap failure as they can be fully extended when you resume control and immediately fail.

I know very well how to land a bomber, and how to flare.( in the simulator, not in real life), what i ment is that the autopilot lands it, and runs it through the final, way behind stall speed! I mean, that bomber is going so slow that when i shutt the autopilot off it falls like a rock!

Indeed the AI not overheating or suffering from overheat is a big one. In 4.11 this will be totally different as the AI will have to open the radiator flaps and back off on the throttle... maybe they will even cook an engine or two.

@Bolelas: I'm fairly certain that the AI enters some sort of scripted routine (if you watch closely you can kind of see it happen) and that it doesn't too closely follow the flight model at that point. Landing is pretty difficult and I suspect the AI just isn't equipped to handle the aircraft in such a manner.

yeah, in real aircraft it depends a lot on what you are flying.

I was taught Power for IAS in GA aircraft but am finding ultralight people often use Elevator for IAS.

Of course if you fly gliders its Elevator for IAS all the way
