Not true, this has been fixed long ago.
IMHO immersion-wise BOB2:WoV > IL2 by far:
Dynamic campaign. Clickable Cockpits. 6DoF. Fights with hundred and more planes. AI lightyears ahead of IL2's one.

Not going to flame you but I have patch 2.07 and my wing man still jumps about like he has ADT???? Maybe it is a setting thing. I was not knocking the game I was just pointing out the limitations of the Merlin Engine.
