Also, tinting the screen makes it even harder to see planes.

so you just want a tinting effect for the sake of it? to give the ilusion of wearing sunglasses?

Here's some pics, if you think the sun is too bright, use it, if it doesn't bother you then don't, it's not a magic button that's going to show enemy planes in the sun, just make it more comfortable on your eyes while your searching, I'm sure MG could do a much better job with this effect than xplane did ~S~
