I'm with you on this one. With the amount of detailed ground vehicles and objects BoM is going to be a bonanza for ground pounding. Even the older Russian aircraft could be dangerous to ground troops. Be fun protecting either side's ground troops. Even more fun hedge hopping and strafing collumns of infantry and support vehicles in a Rata with 20mm canon and rockets.

Reality is , as long as they release a SDK where you can make new maps with new textures , even islands - we wont really need expansions apart from new aircraft. The mod community can do it all and probably better as can be seen in most games.

I fear we will not see any grunts in BoM.

90% of the I-16 (and all of the I-153) were ShKAS-armed versions. In 1941 the ShVAK-armed types were as rare as a win in the lottery and only from 1942 on I-16 were modified with heavier armament by the frontline units.
