Very true about them not being shared. And when the collector dies, all too often the family throw the photos away

I've sometimes thought of buying some of these photos,but they tend to sell for crazy prices. Look at the Spitfire for example.

There are one or two consortiums who bid high figure on ebay and sell copies to authors etc.

There are no copyright issues on these photos and you can save them to your HD should you wish.
