--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gentlemen,

A short update today.

Continuing to work on all fronts. The graphics reload has finally reached a sufficiently stable alpha state. Public beta is within reach. We’ll be benchmarking it next week and releasing the results. At this point we ourselves do not know how much better it’s gotten, and we’re as excited to learn as you are."
We got an update telling us there was an unforseen issue holding it up, neither technical or legal iirc.

I'm not a Battle Of Britain guy...Never was. F4s in the Mediterranean would be my favorite, North Africa etc. Russia will have to do. The snow will be cool if we get it. At least I'll be able to see something.

I know. In Helmut Lipfert's book he is telling of flying along over a flat totally white landscape with only a rail line for reference. If the tracks weren't there it would have been like flying over a pale of milk. I get my clear circular compass out and press it to the monitor if I have to fly a long distance over something like that. Then just make a note of the heading and keep that course.

Hi BlackSix, a question for luthier for next time:

Will the new graphics engine have improved SLI/Crossfire performance? SLI currently gives minimal frames per second increase for many players and can introduce stutters.

There are in-game angle and distance tools for the map now, Not to mention the instruments in your aircraft.
