Where as the *.ini & *.log files in your USER folder are used..

And those are the ones you want to make back ups of from time to time.

ie in your 'My Documents' folder under 1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover, it is easy to access and backup.

You can save your controls in game through Option/Controls, you can save different profiles for various tasks eg bombing, dogfights etc and load them into the game when required.

You can delete the whole folder under C:\Users\<YOUR USER NAME HERE>\Documents\1C SoftClub\
it will be regenerated the next time you start Cliffs of Dover, this whole folder is kept stored and not necessary to keep safe.
